Elegance

Of course dressing well plays a part when you do tango.

Bella does it with impeccable taste. She moves around with expensive clothes and a scent that has the effect of making Drake lose his head and, sometimes, the step.

Drake likes Bella a lot, but something is missing.

She deeply dislikes the way he dresses. And Drake can feel her judgment in the embrace.

He always gets the best advice from Bella. Go here and there and get that dark blue shirt. Go here and there and get that aftershave. Go here and there.

But Drake doesn’t. He wants her to like him, but somehow he’s not rushing to the shops.

And somehow Bella is not dumping Drake.

Something keeps her coming back to him.

At first she thought he’s a nice partner, but not her type.

Why you stay, then.

“There is something that draws me to you”, she whispers, struggling to explain what it is that she likes.

“It is your mind”, she tries. “Your relaxing way of being and what is happening in your eyes. You are looking for something…”.

And right there, Bella loses the step. She will never leave.

At heart, I am a story-teller. As a creative writer and designer, I tell stories on the web, on paper, and sometimes I scribble random lines on the dance floor.
